A valued client who loves to wear dresses and jeans was often reluctant to wear them with a complimenting pair of sandals in the sunshine; in fact she had never worn a pair of sandals before due to the fact she dislikes her toes! Clariscia had managed to enable the client to wear a pair of sandals she had bought for the first time… simply by skilfully matching fabric and making rosettes to place on top.
This left Clariscia with the new idea of Pimp my Pumps, and a very happy client who can now go to the summer time ball (or park) !

Groom and Wife, Charlise and KenThe gorgeous wedding venue in Vienna

Clariscia travelled out to Vienna as a guest of a very good friend and a client of CG to attend her special day. What a beautiful city to hold such a beautiful day and event; even the sun came out especially for the two days whilst everyone was there. With lots of sights to see, and great timing to arrive for Viennese International Food Festival, Clariscia thoroughly enjoyed herself. A big congratulation to Charlise and Ken.

Some of the moments he had captured were entered for a bridal shots photographic competition, which he successfully won awards in. His 2 winning shots featured the dress which was worn by Louisa, and designed by Clariscia. Congratulations to Gary on your awards.

This year was extra special, as it was marking the 15th anniversary, and saw a really fun photo shoot featuring Clariscia Gill designs on five strong feisty successful black women all in the top of their game from the world of media namely TV, film and music. Throughout the duration of her visit Hélène gained an insight into Clariscia’s style, knowledge and expertise; as well as gracefully modelling several of Clariscia’s designs. Upon Hélène’s return to France, she entered her handmade dress which she designed into the Kiwanis International contest in Romans Bourg de Péage . A big thank you to Hélène for her help and assistance whilst she was working with us, and a very well deserved Congratulations for winning her end of school fashion competition with her own handmade dress which she designed herself!

Clariscia and Hélène at the Pop Up Shop

Pop Up Shop, Spring 2011

For one day only, some of Clariscia exclusive designs were showcased for public viewing when Mew’s Art Room became transformed into CG Pop Up Shop. Throughout the day, CG’s 2 newly recruited models, namely Helene and Camille modelled some of the garments designed by Clariscia, and a good friend of Clariscia, Michael Cimino was also on hand to aid the day’s activities, offering quick hair makeovers to both current and new clients in the shop. Thanks to everyone who popped in and also a big thank you to everyone who helped contribute to make it such a enjoyable and successful day!
